Author's note

Adore64 font by .:ck!:. is a free pixel bitmap typeface that captures the crunchy charm of early console screens. Its tight, blocky forms march along a strict grid, giving every word that satisfyingly chunky, 8‑bit look without turning into a blur. Straight stems, squared bowls, and neatly carved counters keep it legible even at tiny sizes, so it holds up whether you’re mimicking a CRT or scaling up for bold, poster-style titles.

Using Adore64, you can instantly lock in a nostalgic game aesthetic for retro platformers, RPG interfaces, score counters, and pixel-art logos. This free font also works beautifully on stream overlays, synthwave event flyers, and old-school UI mockups. Try pairing Adore64 with a clean geometric sans for body text, and keep Adore64 at larger sizes or low-res grids to let its crisp, stair-stepped edges really shine.
