Author's note

Doublejoint font by Ola Nilsson is a free decorative script typeface with letters that look like bendy wires dotted with tiny rivets. The strokes twist and kink in unexpected places, giving words a loose, wobbly energy, while the dotted accents feel like little bolts or beads pressed into ink. It has a hand-drawn roughness that keeps it playful rather than polished.

Using Doublejoint, you get a scrappy, offbeat voice that stands out on gig posters, zines, DIY flyers, quirky brand logos, comic titles, and party invitations. This free font shines when set large so the dotted “joints” are visible; pair it with a clean geometric sans for small text to keep everything readable and balanced.
