Inkling Font

Inkling font by Darrell Flood is a free trash typeface that looks like it’s been slapped onto the page with a fat, dripping marker. The letters are chunky and uneven, with inky splats and blots that feel raw and a little chaotic, as if they’re still wet. Its rough edges and heavy strokes give any word a loud, handmade attitude that jumps off the screen or page.

Using Inkling, you get a bold, messy voice that shines on gig posters, zines, streetwear graphics, horror titles, album covers, stickers, and YouTube thumbnails. This free font works best at big sizes where the splatty details can really show. For body copy, pair it with a clean geometric sans to keep everything readable while Inkling handles the shouting.
