Author's note

Minster No 2 by PJL is a free medieval gothic font shaped by tall blackletter rhythm and sharp, cut-in details. The repeated broken curves, pointed joins, and narrow vertical pull give the lettering a formal church-manuscript presence rather than a generic old-style effect.

It makes sense on fantasy book covers, tavern signs, album art, game titles, and event posters that need a distinctly historic voice. Because the texture stays angular and ceremonial across the font, it can also frame certificates, pub menus, or chapter openers where a plain gothic would feel too neutral.
