Author's note

Pointedly Mad by R. Gast of GreyWolf WebWorks is a free western display font with chunky frontier lettering and sharply pinched forms that feel straight out of a saloon sign. The letters mix broad, blocky weight with pointed inner cuts and bracketed feet, so the font reads bold and rugged without losing that slightly theatrical Wild West flavor.

It fits naturally into poster headlines, whiskey labels, rodeo flyers, game title cards, and rustic shop branding, where a free font with this much period character can carry the mood fast. Use it when you want short lines, names, or cover text to feel old-timey and forceful, especially in layouts that need a hard-edged vintage accent.
