Author's note
Spellstone by P.D. Magnus is a free whimsical handwritten font with a storybook, slightly old-press feel. The letters mix casual curves with chunky little knobs and blunt serif-like finishes, so the font feels homemade and a bit folkloric rather than smooth or polished.
It fits book covers, posters, cafe branding, event flyers, and packaging where you want something friendly but not cute, and this free font also works nicely for short headlines or title cards. The uneven rhythm gives a few words real character, especially when you want lettering that feels written, printed, and slightly weathered all at once.
