Author's note

20th Century Woodcut by Josh Bingham is a free eroded old-school display font modeled on rough relief printing and weathered commercial type. Its broad, uneven capitals have sturdy slablike serifs, chipped edges, and broken patches that make the ink seem worn into the grain of a carved block.

Vintage print-shop character makes it apt for concert posters and historical publishing. The same scarred texture suits heritage food packaging and rugged merchandise, turning names and labels into compact printed marks with the irregular bite of a roughly hand-pulled impression.
