Author's note

2ColorIdeas Sans, designed by Kimberly Geswein of High-Logic, is a free distorted display font with extremely tall, narrow lettering. Uneven curves and gently wavering strokes give the letters the direct quality of marker-drawn signs. The loose widths and unusually open shapes create a lively, uneven silhouette.

Poster design is its strongest setting, especially for indie music, comedy events, or handmade retail promotions. The stretched forms also suit album covers and quirky packaging, where the lettering can act like a custom-drawn title. Its offbeat proportions connect these uses to DIY culture and playful contemporary illustration.
