8-bit is a free pixel display font built from hard-edged rectangular blocks. Its letters echo low-resolution bitmap type, with stepped corners and square openings that make the construction immediately visible. The compact forms have a sturdy arcade-screen look.
Classic video game graphics are its clearest reference, making it apt for game titles, streaming graphics, and retro event posters. It can also give tech merchandise a deliberately early-digital identity. The repeated grid structure directly matches pixel art and tiled backgrounds, so the type can become part of the imagery.
