Author's note

A Bit Empty, designed by Marcin Leskow, is a free outlined decorative font with a striking mix of hollow contours and solid black sections. Its tall, sharply contrasted letters borrow the elegance of fashion-editorial type, but their widths shift dramatically from slim verticals to broad, rounded forms. The broken fill pattern keeps the alphabet deliberately unpredictable.

Fashion posters are its clearest home, with album artwork, magazine covers, and cosmetics packaging also benefiting from the theatrical alternation of light and dark. Across those uses, the changing weight turns each word into a ready-made graphic motif rather than a uniform line of type.
