A Waheed, created by Hassan Shujau and Hassan Hameed, is a free Arabic display font named for calligrapher Abdulla Waheed. Its strokes swell into soft curves and taper at their ends. The separate marks share the same dense, hand-drawn construction.
Designers working on Arabic cultural and community projects can use it for posters, event graphics, and publishing. The lettering feels direct and informal. It is most convincing on posters, where its sweeping shapes can function almost like painted calligraphy.
