aa Tafelschrift by Anke Arnold is a free handwritten font with the restless look of quick blackboard lettering. Its narrow looping forms lean forward and shift noticeably in height. Broken edges and scattered flecks give the strokes a dry chalk-like texture.
As a hand-drawn sign, it can shape cafe menus, classroom posters, and informal event graphics. The uneven marks make each word feel rubbed and redrawn. That chalky surface also connects naturally with school illustrations and food boards.
