Author's note

Aaargh Cyrillic Bold, designed by Tup Wanders in 2004, is a free broad-proportioned sans serif with clean geometry and gently modulated strokes. Its rounded forms keep the weight approachable.

In editorial design, the open shapes suit magazine section headings and compact cover lines. The same direct construction gives signage, branding, and digital graphics a crisp contemporary voice. It is most convincing in short display settings, where its wide letters make words feel steady and substantial.
