Aansa, credited to Pixelmix in 2010, is a free wide pixel font with the stark geometry of an early computer interface. Its letters spread horizontally, with long straight runs and broad rectangular interiors. Narrow joins and abrupt cut-ins keep the silhouettes lively despite their substantial width.
Circuit diagrams and angular interface graphics share its squared structure, making it a useful face for game title cards and technology posters. It also suits electronic music artwork and arcade merchandise.
