AB CD by Lorenz Fidel Huchthausen of FontStruct is a free futuristic caps display font built from dense, angular forms with an uncompromising industrial look. Its towering block shapes, pointed tops, and hard diagonal cuts create a severe mechanical silhouette, with narrow interior slits resembling breaks in folded metal.
Designers working in electronic music and science-fiction entertainment will find it suited to album artwork, game graphics, and event posters. It can also give streetwear merchandise a hard industrial edge. The repeated peaks and blade-like notches turn the lettering into part of the imagery, echoing armored machinery, abstract architecture, or a jagged skyline.
