Author's note

Aboriginal Sans Bold, by Chris Harvey, is a free bold sans serif with a plainspoken, early-digital feel. The letters are broad and heavy, but not blunt - the round shapes stay open and soft, while the straight strokes keep the font grounded and direct.

That makes it a natural fit for posters, album covers, zines, title cards, and short branding lines where you want weight without fuss. As a free font, it also works well for web banners, app headers, and quick editorial callouts, because the rounded bowls and sturdy rhythm give short words a steady, unfussy presence.
