Author's note

Aboriginal Serif, by Chris Harvey, is a free Greek-inflected serif font with a calm, inscriptional air. The letters pair tall contrast with crisp, tapering details, so the overall texture feels formal and a little ceremonial rather than bookish.

That makes it a natural fit for museum branding, cultural posters, book jackets, title cards, and editorial cover lines where a free font can bring in a classical voice without turning stiff. It also suits monograms and short headings, since the sharp serifs and stately curves give even a few letters a carved, emblem-like presence.
