Author's note

Addams by Comicraft's John Roshell is a free gothic display font with a lanky, theatrical silhouette. Its sharply tapered strokes and hooked curves recall hand-cut blackletter, with uneven contours that keep the forms restless. The lettering feels deliberately sinister.

A horror poster is its clearest setting, where the tall forms can suggest an old title card or carved sign. The same macabre styling suits haunted event graphics, spooky game art, and Halloween merchandise. Repeated knife-like points tie those uses together, turning the words into part of the threatening imagery rather than neutral text.
