Author's note
Addiel Bold, designed by Carlos Addiel Gaxiola Soto of Carlos Addiel, is a free brush script with a lively hand-painted shape. Its rounded strokes swell and taper sharply, leaving soft, ink-like ends across the letters. Tall loops and an uneven baseline give the writing a quick, buoyant movement.
The flowing forms can echo doodles, splashes, and loose character art in children's publishing or entertainment graphics. Food packaging and casual event posters also suit its plump curves and cheerful informality. In branding, the lettering can become part of a mascot or illustrated badge rather than serving as neutral text beside it.

It is the result of a workshop taught by Oswaldo Madrid at the Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora in Obregón, Mexico.
