AE Kayrawan, created by Arabeyes in 2003, is a free early-digital serif font with a restrained, scholarly character. Broad letter shapes, firm horizontal serifs, and an emphatic contrast between rounded forms and the angular K give the design a slightly typewritten, archival flavor.
Its measured rhythm suits cultural exhibition identities, academic book jackets, museum wayfinding, literary journal headings, and formal event programs.
