Author's note

Aegis Leftalic, designed in 2010 by Iconian Fonts, is a free Greek-style display font with broad, weighty capitals. Uneven stroke widths and sharply cut serifs recall carved inscriptions, but the shapes are deliberately loose and theatrical. Several letters lean against the reading direction.

Poster design is its clearest medium, especially for mythology exhibitions, stage productions, and classical-themed events. The recurring omega-like curves and wedge shapes can also become part of emblems for games or historical publishing.
