Author's note

AEZ curly Q by Anastacia E. Zittel is a free brush display font with the blunt force and irregular edges of lettering cut quickly by hand. Broad strokes shift abruptly between rounded bends, pointed joins, and notches.

Graffiti-inspired design is its clearest setting, especially for music posters, skateboard merchandise, and game graphics that benefit from compact, hard-struck lettering and a raw, rebellious surface. The same cut-paper silhouette also suits children's publishing and snack packaging, where the uneven contours can echo torn collage shapes, illustrated creatures, and handmade labels rather than behaving like neutral text within a more playful visual context.
