AEZ January-1.ttf

Author's note

AEZ January-1 by DATA BECKER is a free rough brush display font with the blunt force of quickly painted lettering. Its broad, uneven strokes form angular silhouettes, with ragged edges and abrupt changes in width throughout. The letters feel cut and slapped into place.

It can turn a music poster or streetwear logo into a raw handmade mark, and the same aggressive shapes suit skate merchandise and action-game graphics. The chipped contours and lopsided joins echo torn stickers and sprayed signage, making the lettering part of the gritty subject matter rather than a neutral caption.
