Author's note

Aierbazzi by Roberto Cecchi is a free nature dingbat font of spare, branching botanical ornaments. Fine shoots rise from darker, root-like bases, with uneven curves that recall ink drawing. Small buds, dots, and scattered flecks give the forms an organic, weathered edge.

The tree imagery can become part of illustration rather than serving as lettering. It suits book covers, garden event posters, and product packaging with a woodland theme. On herbal labels, the ornament can function as a brand emblem.

Aierbazzi is part of the creator’s diploma thesis. It was designed to study how ordinary fonts can be used to create illustrations by combining and processing preset shapes (keys).
