Author's note
Airlib is a free distressed handwritten font with tall, loose letters and a heavily scuffed contour. Its uneven strokes resemble dry marker lines repeatedly dragged across rough paper, giving the rounded forms a restless, homemade finish.
It is most convincing on music posters, where the broken texture can echo photocopied artwork and DIY production. Album covers and streetwear graphics also suit its raw, wiry drawing. In event flyers, the lettering can become part of the scratched surface treatment rather than serving as neutral type.
