Author's note
akaArcade, designed by James Milligan for akaType, is a free curly display font with thin, wandering strokes and exaggerated loops. Its uneven letter shapes feel hand-drawn and theatrical.
The storybook character makes it a lively fit for children's publishing and fantasy event posters. It can also make game graphics and playful merchandise feel illustrated, as the tall curls resemble pen flourishes. For toy shops or creative studios, those loops can form a recognizable brand identity.
