Author's note

akaIndic, designed by James Milligan for akaType, is a free medieval display font with a sharp, hand-cut silhouette. Tall vertical strokes end in pointed wedges, and the rounded letters carry deep notches that interrupt their otherwise flowing outlines. Strong changes in stroke width give the lettering a lively calligraphic quality.

A fantasy game title is its clearest role, especially for stories built around ancient kingdoms, folklore, or ritual. The same carved quality suits festival posters, book covers, and themed packaging, where the lettering can suggest an invented historical script without imitating formal blackletter. Against maps, heraldic animals, or etched botanical art, its pointed cuts can continue the illustration's engraved detail.
