Al! Sarrab, created by Ismail Bel Kharchouf of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free sign dingbat font built around compact, solid silhouettes with a flat, highly simplified graphic construction. The forms are dense and stripped of fine detail.
Designers working for transport, industrial, or public-information audiences could draw on that no-frills pictogram quality in signage, maps, and instruction panels, as the compact shapes resemble the functional markers used in those settings. On utilitarian packaging and service branding, the dense forms can operate as product marks or badge-like emblems, giving the identity a purposeful system of symbols rather than ordinary lettering.
