Altamonte by Nick Curtis is a free retro bubble display font with a soft, cartooned 1960s feel. The letters are heavy and rounded, with big pillowy curves, pinched joins, and little circular cut-ins that make the font feel playful rather than slick.
It fits best where the lettering can be part of the mood - poster headlines, record sleeves, children's book covers, shop signs, and title cards all suit this free font.
