Author's note

Ameba by Carlos Matteoli is a free graffiti display font with swollen, tightly packed letters and a deliberately distorted silhouette. Small cutouts puncture the dense, rounded forms.

Merchandise gives this lettering an immediate home, since its broad shapes can turn a name into a compact graphic. Music posters, event graphics, and streetwear branding also benefit from the irregular notches and exaggerated curves that recall sticker art and painted walls. The playful underground style is especially suited to youth, skate, and alternative music audiences.
