Antikythera Academy Regular Font

Antikythera Academy, created in 2012 by Iconian Fonts, is a free Greek-inspired display font with a forceful, angular build. Tall solid shapes, wedge-like cuts, and narrow interior gaps make the capitals resemble carved emblems more than conventional type.

Its stylized Greek character suits mythology posters, historical game titles, and museum-event graphics with an overtly theatrical voice. Some letters lean toward armor plates or lightning bolts. That hard-edged imagery also gives sports merchandise and metal album covers a convincing visual link.

Antikythera is a title font named after the Antikythera mechanism, discovered off the coast of a Greek island several decades ago. Historians describe the device as a precise calculating instrument with engineering centuries ahead of its time and the first real computer. A device with similar functionality and engineering would not appear again for several more centuries.
