Author's note

Apocalypse Fax, a free pixelated bitmap font by Kirk Shelton, channels the rough signal of damaged screens and degraded transmissions. Chunky letters break into blunt blocks, with uneven gaps and clipped edges creating a deliberately unstable rhythm.

This free font fits retro game titles, dystopian posters, noise album covers, photocopied zines, and lo-fi title cards. Its fractured silhouettes work best in short headlines or compact labels, where the fax-like distortion can remain the main visual idea.
