Author's note

Arcus by Samuel Carnoky of CarnokyTypes is a free geometric sans serif with tall, open forms and smooth, circular curves. Its strokes are spare and mostly even, giving the letters a clean architectural outline. The broad shapes feel calm and deliberate.

Corporate branding is its strongest setting, especially for studios, architects, and contemporary homeware labels. The rounded construction also suits exhibition posters and magazine covers. In packaging, those arching forms can echo product silhouettes or simple line drawings.
