Arresto by Paulo W. is a free calligraphic script with forceful, sharply tapered strokes. Broad sweeps and abrupt changes in weight give the lettering a fast, assertive movement. The capitals are especially expansive in scale.
Photography with strong motion or attitude can echo its slashing strokes on fashion posters and music artwork. It also suits restaurant branding and event invitations, offering a more animated alternative to formal copperplate.
