Author's note

Arrows by Ned of FontStruct is a free arrow dingbat font built from spare, mostly monoline strokes. Its symbols range from direct vertical pointers to bent, doubled, and branching forms, with sharp triangular heads and an intentionally diagrammatic look.

For transit signage, the clean pointers offer an immediate sense of direction, but the more unusual branching forms also suit experimental posters and electronic music graphics. They can become route markers in maps or active controls in game interfaces, where the repeated arrowhead motif connects practical information with a playful technical style. Signage remains the most convincing use because the symbols communicate movement before they are read as decoration.
