Artisan12 by Volker Busse is a free handwritten display font with blunt, rounded strokes, visible wobble, and softly irregular joins. Its uneven letter shapes keep the writing warm and unpolished.
Children's book covers are a particularly good fit, since the simple forms resemble lettering made with a felt-tip pen, and the same quality suits classroom posters and craft packaging.
