Author's note

Ash by Billy-Joe Lee of CherryLane Designs is a free heavy condensed sans serif with imposing block capitals and sharply cut geometry. Dense strokes and blunt joins create a hard industrial look.

Sports, action entertainment, and urban themes match its muscular build, making it well suited to large event posters and graphic streetwear merchandise. It has the punch needed for album covers and game graphics, where oversized lettering can become part of the artwork rather than a neutral label. In branding, the compact silhouettes can turn a short name into a tough, stamped-looking mark that suits athletic or industrial products.
