Author's note

Ask My Flashlight by Dismantle Destroy is a free comic display font with an oversized, hard-edged silhouette. Its dense letters shift between broad geometric shapes and pinched, irregular forms, and abrupt angles join uneven widths in a deliberately restless line.

Humor, noise, and unruly urban themes suit this lettering especially well. It can turn comic-book covers and youth event posters into loud printed graphic material, and the eccentric construction also fits streetwear branding or album artwork. In publishing, it is best suited to mastheads and section openers that benefit from lettering with the force of a hand-cut logo.
