Ataxia by ÆNIGMA FONTS is a free gothic display font built from broad, blunt letterforms, compressed curves, and abrupt pointed cuts. Its squat shapes combine blackletter weight with an unruly, almost carved silhouette, and the counters appear as stark geometric notches cut deep into the mass. Several letters finish in sharp feet or hooked projections.
Music packaging can use this aggressive construction to give album covers and printed concert posters a harsh custom-made edge. The same jagged forms suit fantasy game title screens and skate merchandise, especially for subjects involving elaborate dark folklore, underground music, or medieval menace.
