Author's note

Atene by GBL Edizioni - Pistoia is a free Greek display font with the flavor of carved inscriptions and classical signage. The letters mix sharp wedge-like strokes with soft, swelling curves, so the font feels both formal and a little theatrical, with a distinctly Mediterranean rhythm.

It works well for museum posters, restaurant identities, book covers, festival programs, and title cards where that antique Greek note helps set the scene. As a free font, it also suits short headlines and monograms, since the broad curves and pointed joins give even a few letters a clear period voice.
