Athletic Town, by Distreect, is a free eroded old-school sports display font with the blunt, blocky swagger of vintage varsity lettering. The caps are tall and square-shouldered, with slab-like heft and chipped, weathered breaks that make the whole font feel pulled from a worn gym banner or cracked stadium sign.
It fits naturally in team posters, retro apparel graphics, bar-and-grill menus, event flyers, and title cards that want a rough collegiate tone. As a free font, it also works well for short cover lines and monograms, because the distressed texture gives even a few letters that scraped, hard-used athletic character.
