Atype 1 by Salvo Nicolosi is a free geometric sans serif from 2007 with a calm, pared-back voice. The letters feel light and open, built from near-monoline strokes and rounded forms, while the tall crossbar on the t and the sharp, descending y keep it from looking too neutral.
It makes sense for branding, editorial headers, posters, interface labels, and title cards where a quiet modern tone matters more than ornament. As a free font, it also suits short cover lines, wordmarks, and simple packaging, since the clean circles and spare rhythm give even a brief phrase a composed, contemporary look.
If you're going to earn money for a project involving this font, I would consider it correct to make a donation. Imho a donation is not a payment, so you're free to donate as much as you want (be kind, please!).
