Augustus Beveled by Paulo W of Intellecta Design is a free beveled outline display font with the stature of carved Roman capitals. Its tall, sharply cut letters combine classical proportions with loose inner contour lines that resemble hand-chiseled facets.
It can give museum exhibition graphics and historical publishing a suitably monumental voice, yet the restless doubled edges also suit theatrical posters and fantasy game packaging. The font is most convincing when lettering needs to function like an engraved title rather than a neutral caption.
