Author's note

Backstage Pass by Nick Curtis is a free groovy display font with the chunky swagger of late-60s and 70s show posters. The caps are built from big, rounded blocks sliced with tight vertical stripes, giving the letters a punchy rhythm that feels part concert marquee, part retro paperback cover.

That makes this free font a natural fit for music flyers, festival branding, poster headlines, album packaging, and bold title cards where a few words need a loud visual beat. It also works well for cover lines and monograms, since the striped cuts keep the heavy shapes from feeling flat.
