Author's note

BadAcid font by David F. Nalle is a free scary display font with a wiry, blackletter-meets-poisoned-vine look. Its strokes twist into sharp hooks and clawed curves, giving every word that scratchy, hand-inked menace you want when clean horror fonts feel too tame.

Using BadAcid works beautifully for haunted event posters, metal flyers, Halloween invites, occult book covers, dungeon-game titles, creepy merch, and tattoo-style logos. This free font wants room to snarl, so keep it large and pair it with a plain sans serif when you need body copy.
