Author's note
Bailey by Kacey Gambrell is a free handwritten font with exceptionally tall, fine lettering and an easy, unhurried line. Its narrow shapes, wavering stroke widths, and occasional oversized curves give the writing the direct character of a quickly drawn sign, with small quirks that keep repeated forms from looking mechanical.
Casual food, neighborhood events, and independent retail are its most convincing settings, especially when a project needs lettering that feels personally made. It is particularly apt for cafe menus and market posters. The long verticals and open loops can also echo simple line drawings, letting the words become part of illustrated packaging or friendly editorial artwork.
