Author's note

Ballymun RO, Ronald B. Ogawa's free high-contrast serif, leans toward a modern bookish elegance with tall, quiet letters and fine hairlines. The shapes feel refined rather than rigid: a broad, stately B, a single-storey a with a soft curl, and a long y that gives the font a slightly literary, late-19th-century air.

It suits magazine mastheads, novel covers, gallery invitations, fashion editorials, and short brand signatures where that contrast can do the work. Ballymun is a san serif font created by Ronald B. Ogawa in
the spirit of Brinkhurst's statement that one could "write
a humanist letter and leave the serif off."

It contains the Unified Canadian Aboriginal Syllabics as
well as the WGL4 character sets.
