Balthasar NBP, created by Nate Halley using FontStruct, is a free pixel font with tall, lean lettering and an austere early-computer look. Wide gaps interrupt several forms, and the mix of rigid uprights, open curves, and small detached marks gives the alphabet an eccentric mechanical cadence.
Technology brands and independent game studios could use it for logos, interface graphics, packaging, and promotional posters with a deliberately low-resolution theme. It is strongest in game title graphics.
