Barbarian NS Font

Barbarian NS, designed in 2013 by Anthony Robinson ANFA, is a free modern Gothic display font with broad capitals, blade-like serifs, and deep angular cuts throughout the letterforms. The interior slashes look carved into dark metal.

A fantasy game title is its most convincing role, since the pointed shapes recall engraved weapons and ornate armor rather than traditional manuscript lettering. That aggressive ornament also suits heavy-metal merchandise, combat-sports posters, and branding for medieval-themed events. On book covers and magazine features, the letters can become part of a sword-and-sorcery illustration, echoing blades, shields, fractured stone, and heraldic coats of arms.
