Author's note

Bas Celik N by Nikola Kovanovic is a free Cyrillic caps display font with a hard-edged, poster-era Russian feel. The letters are built from heavy rectangular strokes and broad curves, creating a blocky rhythm that feels industrial and a little severe, while the repeated open forms keep it from turning stiff.

It suits cultural posters, record sleeves, title cards, club flyers, and cover lines where a few words need that Soviet-leaning graphic snap. As a free font, it also makes sense for monograms, short branding marks, and headline treatments that benefit from its compressed tension and stark, cut-from-steel presence.
